DESCRIPTION:This popular self-guided tour of historic barns brings awareness to the public of Frederick County’s strong agricultural heritage and how barns were constructed to last. Barn docents will greet ticket holders at each barn location to share information and answer questions. During this time\, artists and crafters will be creating at the barns. Tickets are $20. Children under 12 are free. Each adult ticket buyer must wear a provided wristband to be admitted to the barn properties. \n​In the morning\, breakfast sandwiches\, pastries and coffee will be sold at the local St. Mark’s Lutheran Church\, 17015 Sabillasville Rd. \n​From 12:00 noon -5:00 p.m.\, a bake sale and food trucks selling grilled cheese\, sliders\, and cold drinks will be at the host site. \n​From 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.\, tour goers are invited to the host site (Sabillasville Environmental School\, 16210 Sabillasville Road\, Sabillasville\, MD)\, for a judged art show and art sale event while listening to old-time music performed by the Gravy Soppers.
