The market will take place at Lincoln Elementary featuring producer-only vendors offering a variety of fresh fruits\, vegetables\, meats\, and other fresh grown locally made food. \nField Fresh accepts SNAP and WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) checks on eligible purchases and participates in the Maryland Market Money (MMM) program. MMM provides a dollar for dollar match on benefits up to thirty dollars. The program helps alleviate economic barriers to healthy food while supporting viability for farmers.

SUMMARY:Central Maryland Forage Conference
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the University of Maryland Extension agriculture programs from across the state organize educational sessions related to forage production for growers and other agriculture professionals to benefit the community. These sessions help our farmers and agriculture community keep current with up-to-date information about timely agriculture-related topics. \nTopics for the event will include: soil health considerations in forage systems\, economics of forage production\, understanding forage tests and their value\, identifying and troubleshooting issues in forage stands\, an Extension research update\, and a pesticide update. \nNutrient management certification credits\, private and commercial applicator pesticide credits will be available. \nPayment is by credit card or check. A lite breakfast will be available\, lunch is included in the price of the ticket. Cancellations need to be made at least 7 days in advance to receive a refund.
