DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 6 week session of Fitness and Flowers on the farm.  Please purchase tickets for Each Week you plan to attend.   Each class will begin with roughly 30 minutes of a full body workout led by Christa Hannan.  The first 3 weeks will be Barre and the last 3 weeks will be Strength and Conditioning. Barre Above blends the latest exercise science delivering fusion of ballet\, Pilates and strength training.  For strength and conditioning we’ll use heavier weights and have short strength and cardio blocks.  Each class will work your entire body and can be modified to fit people at all fitness levels.  After the workout we will go to the 1/3 acre flower hill where Jamie Derr will assist you in cutting your own bouquet of flowers to take home.  We encourage you to bring a water bottle\, yoga mat\, and light weights if you have them.  All flower supplies will be provided. \nTickets can be purchased at the event link.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our June Sip-N-Pick featuring live music by Matt Metz and Matt Kline and wine by Loew Vineyards.  Come relax by the pond and sip amazing local wine while you listen to live music performed from our dock.  Wine is for sale and not included in the ticket price.  You are welcome to bring picnics to eat while you are here.  These events are very kid friendly so feel free to bring the whole family.  Kids 15 and younger are free. Every ticket includes a bouquet of flowers you get to pick yourself from our 1/3-acre flower hill.  Extra bouquets can be purchased at the event for $15 each.  All flower cutting supplies are provided.  We will have a dairy calf there for everyone to meet and learn about dairy cattle to help us celebrate dairy month.  Please no smoking\, pets or outside alcohol.

DESCRIPTION:This popular self-guided tour of historic barns brings awareness to the public of Frederick County’s strong agricultural heritage and how barns were constructed to last. Barn docents will greet ticket holders at each barn location to share information and answer questions. During this time\, artists and crafters will be creating at the barns. Tickets are $20. Children under 12 are free. Each adult ticket buyer must wear a provided wristband to be admitted to the barn properties. \n​In the morning\, breakfast sandwiches\, pastries and coffee will be sold at the local St. Mark’s Lutheran Church\, 17015 Sabillasville Rd. \n​From 12:00 noon -5:00 p.m.\, a bake sale and food trucks selling grilled cheese\, sliders\, and cold drinks will be at the host site. \n​From 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.\, tour goers are invited to the host site (Sabillasville Environmental School\, 16210 Sabillasville Road\, Sabillasville\, MD)\, for a judged art show and art sale event while listening to old-time music performed by the Gravy Soppers.
