The Dahlia Den & Gardens is a small, family-run flower farm located in the Braddock Heights area of Frederick, Maryland. The farm was established in 2021 but is now being operated by a double mother-daughter duo as of September 2024. Set on 1.5 acres, the farm grows a wide variety of annual and perennial cut flowers, including peonies, snapdragons, hydrangeas, lilies, lisianthuses, sunflowers, roses, zinnias, and of course – dahlias (among many others). During the peak of the growing season visitors can wander the grounds, exploring the 50+ flower beds, hoop house, and gazebo area and pick their own flowers to create a custom bouquet. At the center of the farm is the Dahlia Den – a small, covered, open-air structure with seating for 12 – where the farm hosts seasonal workshops like bouquet and wreath making. The Dahlia Den is also available to be booked as a unique setting for private events. Visitors may also stop by the Farm Store, located on the first floor of a restored 1860s farmhouse, to shop locally made goods like soap, pottery, jewelry, and pre-made flower arrangements
