DESCRIPTION:2024 Climate Summit Flier \n   \nMobilize Frederick & Hood College present  \nThe 2024 Climate Summit \nFebruary 2-3 \nHood College Whitaker Campus Center & Rosenstock Hall \n400 Ferndale Ave\, Frederick\, MD 21701 \nOn February 2nd and 3rd\, join Mobilize Frederick and Hood College for the 2024 Climate Summit in Frederick. This year’s theme is Reason for Hope – Progress and Solutions to Climate Change. The event is FREE for participants but registration is required. You can attend one or both days as your schedule allows. This year’s Summit includes keynotes by state and local officials\, legislative updates\, and panels on green investing\, agriculture and climate\, data centers and climate goals\, green schools\, career opportunities\, and building efficiency and electrification. Visit with dozens of exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall and attend a Breakout Session where you can meet the organizations and people who help you take action and become part of the solution. In addition\, this year’s Summit will also feature a climate-themed art exhibition entitled REALMS by artist Ali Syverson. \nOn Friday the Summit starts with check-in at 9 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. On Saturday\, check-in starts at 8 a.m. and the event ends at 3 p.m. The Reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday will be a great opportunity to meet and talk with presenters\, exhibitors\, artist Ali Syverson\, and like-minded participants who understand the urgency of mitigating our climate emergency.
