The Frederick County Office of Agriculture is thrilled to introduce Cassie Fitzpatrick as the new Administrative Coordinator. Cassie brings a unique blend of experiences and a fresh perspective to the team. As a Frederick County native, now residing in Libertytown, she has a deep-rooted connection to the Frederick County community.
Cassie’s professional journey began in healthcare, where she developed a strong foundation in administrative skills and a commitment to serving others. In 2022, she joined the County’s Department of Public Works Highway Division, where she balanced a wide variety of tasks demonstrating her dedication and versatility.
Despite growing up in the city, Cassie gained exposure to agriculture through her husband, Kevin. What began as limited interactions with the industry rapidly grew into a shared lifestyle and passion. She exhibits a clear enthusiasm for the agriculture industry, cherishing the friendships and relationships she has built within this vibrant community.
Cassie fills the missing link within the newly created Office of Ag team. She is particularly eager to embark on this journey embracing the new experiences and challenges within her role while helping to educate the public on the diverse opportunities within the agricultural sector. Her organization skills, former experience in county government and commitment to helping others makes her an invaluable asset to our team.
Outside of work, Cassie enjoys spending time with her family by the river, has a keen interest in learning and reading about natural remedies and works the rodeo rescue for J Bar W Ranch in Union Bridge. She is also a proud mother of two daughters, aged 11 and 13, who are actively involved in 4-H with projects centered around turkeys and pigs. Their involvement further deepens her connection to the agricultural world and underscores her commitment to the industry.
