Brunswick, MD- Brunswick Main Street has coordinated a series of FREE, hands-on, activities this summer at the Brunswick Main Street Farmers Market. First up, the Brunswick Arts Council will offer monoprint making for kids of all ages. Monoprinting is a creative process where participants use ink and paper to make one-of-a-kind prints by drawing or pressing shapes into a painted surface. It’s creatively messy and a lot of fun in the best way. No experience needed! This special activity will take place on Friday, June 27.
Other upcoming events include a community-friendly demonstration about medicinal and culinary herbs presented by Fox Haven Farm in late August, and a session with Wild Potomac exploring local foraging during peak pawpaw season.
The Brunswick Main Street Farmers Market is held on the second Friday and last Friday of each month through October, from 4 to 7 PM in the Martins Creek Municipal Parking Lot on East Potomac Street at 1st Avenue, Brunswick, MD 21716. The market is sponsored by Brunswick Main Street and Mid-Maryland Farm Market.
