The Myersville Farmers Market was Frederick County’s first year-round farmers market, and is very fortunate to once again be able to continue during the colder months of the year with a twice-monthly Indoor Season. Please join us on select Saturdays beginning Saturday, November 18, 2023 and running through April 6, 2023. Shopping at this indoor farmers market is a fantastic way to support local farmers, artisans, and small businesses. By purchasing their products, you contribute to the sustainability of local agriculture, stimulate the regional economy, and foster a sense of community. It’s a win-win, as you get access to high-quality, fresh, and often unique goods while helping your neighbors thrive.
Markets will be held inside the Myersville Volunteer Fire Company Banquet Hall, located at 301 Main Street, Myersville, Maryland 21773.
These winter/indoor markets are open to vendors who participated in our regular outdoor season during 2023, only. While Indoor Markets in November and December will focus on vendors selling great gift items for the holidays, seasonal produce and other local foods will be available. After the New Year our focus shifts to healthy eating and local living with baked goods, meats, eggs, and seasonal produce available, as well as goods from local artisans and crafters.
Here’s the full list of dates: November 18, December 2 and 16, January 6 and 20, February 3 and 17, March 2 and 16, and April 6.
The November 18 market (8:30 AM to 11:30 AM) will be held in conjunction with the Myersville Volunteer Fire Company’s monthly All You Can Eat Country Breakfast (available 7 AM to 10:30 AM.) This date is the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and will be a great time to purchase items for your Thanksgiving Dinner and to get an early start on holiday shopping with local artisans on the same day as the Valley Craft Studio Network Tour.
Saturday, December 2 is the Christmas in Myersville celebration with Myersville Indoor Market and Lions Club AYCE Breakfast in the morning, and Christmas Parade, and other holiday activities throughout the evening.
